Feed your Head: Foods that help promote Hair Growth

I had a long conversation with my hairline last night and we decided that it was time for change.

Sadly, Turkey is over 6,000 miles from West Florida and I have heads to cut.

So, here is another solution. Food. Yes, I am going eat my way to a healthy, proud, head of hair.

Here’s everything you need to know the foods you need to eat to put Chewbacca to shame:

  • Salmon & Tuna - Packed with Omega-3s. Essentially fully synthetic engine oil for your head follicles.

  • Eggs - Full of protein and biotin, the foundations of great hair. Side Note - preparation method does not effect hair growth.

  • Nuts & Seeds - As they say, a few nuts a day keeps the hairline away. Choose your favorite nut.

  • Sweet Potatoes - Full of Beta carotene which turns into Vitamin A, helping to produce healthy oils for your scalp. If you are already sweet enough, then a regular potato will suffice.
